This year, the 8th grade boy's basketball team finished under .500 at four and six. Mason Petersen was one of this year’s key players, averaging over ten points a game.

Jesse Martineau, a returning player and current 8th grader, said that the Bulldogs played a great basketball season. “I feel that we got better and better throughout the season,” he said.

Jesse also stated that having a few more practices could have made a difference in the team's skills. He credits the team's 'chemistry' to hanging out after school, “relaxing and doing homework.”

Jesse thinks the competition this year was harder playing as an 8th grader and not as a 7th grader. Jesse spent the season hitting the majority of his shots.

The Bulldog 7th grade basketball team played fantastically, finishing 8-2. Mason Christianson was on-point all season long, scoring over 15 points every game and scoring his highest at 33. Brady Blackmer and Vladimir Rizo-Medina were not far behind, majorly contributing as well. The Bulldogs also won 7-0 before suffering their first defeat of the year. They played close games at Meadowdale and other schools, and had games where they jumped out early and defeated rivals Alderwood by over sixty points.
