Is your favorite dinner pizza? Or do you know someone who always has pepperoni pizza for lunch? Well that’s only a tiny part of the 251,770,000 pounds of pepperoni pieces that are consumed each year. Okay now, what about another topping? Have you ever tried anchovies on your pizza? No? Well, not many people would think of anchovies as a popular topping. But did you know that they were a big part of the first pizzas created in Naples in 1889? It was one of the first toppings, in fact.
