“Lord Loss” is the first instalment in Darren Shan's chilling series “The Demonata,” which stars a young Grubbs Grady, whose life is tossed into turmoil when he finds his parents murdered, seemingly by demons. The entire story is full of action and bone chilling story telling befitting a horror book. Darren Shan is well known for his horror books, like his popular series Cirque du Freak. Like most of his books, Lord Loss sets a truly horrifying scene, with no happy endings or escapes.
