On January seventh, the boys basketball team played against Kellogg Middle School. The seventh graders, according to Coach Jones, played hard and came out winning 97-51. Coach Jones said, “I felt that it was our best all around hard working game of the season.” Kendric Smith, a seventh grader, scored a total of eleven points, and improved the most as according to Coach Jones. “[What] the seventh graders improved the most [was] continuing to get stronger and working as a team.”
The eighth graders lost 62-53. Coach Jones said, “They fought hard the second half and got close with a very talented team.” According to Coach Jones, Andy Cerekja played his best game and came out scoring twelve points. “This is one of the first aggressive games of the season,” said Coach Jones.
