Splintered

Splintered is a fantastical take on the universe of Lewis Carroll's “Alice in Wonderland.” The main character Alyssia is on a quest to find proof that her mother’s stories about Wonderland weren't just mad ravings. And when she falls through the rabbit hole, Alyssa finds herself neck deep in a world of magic, insanity, and romance. With the help of her childhood crush and a strange boy from her dreams, she might just survive in time to save her mother, and Wonderland.

I found this book to be an interesting take on the original “Alice in wonderland” theme and story, with an interesting plot, and characters. Unfortunately, as a romance it felt, at times forced. I personally, never really connected with the male characters, and felt that the main character relied upon them just a bit to much. This really isn't that big of an issue though, and I still highly recommend this book.
