Wanted: Hamster
Joseph Walker, an eighth grader, recently lost his pet hamster, Violet, in the school. She has been missing for a few weeks. Violet has white fur and is pregnant. She is due to have the baby hamsters at the beginning of April. She was last seen in the library on Monday, March 13th. Joseph brought Violet to school in the morning for a science experiment. He went to the library to check out a book and accidentally left the hamster cage open. Since then, Violet has been spotted in multiple places around the school. “It is awful to think she all alone in the school,” says Amber Dennis, a friend of Joseph and seventh grader at BTMS. Some of Joseph’s friends and teachers have helped look for Violet and comfort Joseph. “I hope we find her before it is too late,” pleads Joseph Walker.
